Nick Cannon may sport tailored suits as the host of “America’s Got Talent,” but the prime-time entertainer isn’t a made-for-TV drone, especially when it comes to defending his wife, Mariah Carey, from Eminem.
In the new issue of In Touch Weekly, Cannon takes a hard-line stance against the Relapse rapper.
Em and MC have been tossing barbs at each other for a couple years now. The words turned more hurtful this year, however, when Carey’s “Obsessed” seemingly mocked Slim Shady, and the rapper responded with “The Warning,” a scathing freestyle threat targeting the singer.
“Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee?/ Wow, Mariah, didn’t expect ya to go balls out/ B—-, shut the f— up before I put all those phone calls out/ You made to my house/ When you was wild ‘n’ out/ Before Nick, when you was on my di–,” Eminem rapped on the track.
Cannon and Em have exchanged both taunts and apologies, as well, but it seems like Mr. Mariah isn’t keen on letting up this time. Not until he and Eminem have a talk, according to Cannon. In the tabloid interview, Cannon even boasts that the rapper should be thankful the two haven’t bumped into each other yet — a far cry from the biblical tweets Cannon previously wrote when responding to Em.
“[Eminem is] lucky I haven’t run into him yet,” Cannon warned, his toughest challenge to Em so far. “I’m supposed to protect my woman if someone can be so heinous and disrespectful. Until we speak, I don’t respect him as a man. He and I need to have an old-school sit-down.”
Once again, who cares?

Ok, granted 50 is probably only saying something now because he has a similar website: BooBooTV. But he has a point in the support of accusations that have been swarming around the internet for years now. Those accusations claim that WorldStarHipHop has been using refresh buttons to receive their immense view counts. You must admit that those tactics are very shady, when you sit there and charge people to post their videos, and the view count is fraudulent all while collecting ad dollars.

Lil’ video I shot from work at REHAB Labor Day Weekend ’09. Jay Z diss by T Pain during his performance, I started recording right after T-Pain says “F**k Jay-Z” & “Jay-Z sucks!” You can clearly hear him say “I think if anything is dead, it should be him.” He goes into a bit of song then continues the rant for a minute then back to more songs. Sorry for the poor sound quality and distortion but it was loud as hell out there, enjoy!
Fabolous mentioned this incident occuring over the weekend. Now we have visuals to confirm, which is greatly appreciated. Oh, another Jay x Summer Jam-related fallout, but I thought he already put T-Pain “up on that Summer Jam screen.”

Jeezy doesn’t care anymore like he’s out on a rampage – seems like anybody that has said/did something slick is catching shots.
Given all the history you made with Gangsta Grillz mixtapes, alot of people were caught off guard when you said “Fuck DJ Drama” onstage last year.
Drama just started acting like a bitch. Drama wanted to be Khaled, but he didn’t want to help nobody. He just changed, period. Look at his crew. The same niggas ain’t around him. You ain’t never been in no streets. I could never have no beef with a nigga like that. He’s a cornball. You made millions off my mixtapes, to the point where the fuckin’ feds scooped you up for bootlegging. I never even made the money he made off of Trap or Die or Tha Streetz Iz Watchin, because they were selling and distributing them and making money. I’m not hating. But we will never do a mixtape together. I didn’t charge that nigga for [contributing a verse to the song “5000 Ones,” on Drama’s official Atlantic Records debut]. But then when I need [a tape for one of my artists], and you want to charge me $20,000?… I’ll slap the shit out of Drama. He knows that. He wasn’t loyal. But me putting my hands on that man ain’t gonna make him respect what I’m saying. I’m just not gonna fuck with him anymore. I kept a lot of real niggas off his ass. There’s a lot of niggas mad at that nigga ‘cause he didn’t do what he was supposed to do. He shouldn’t take people’s money if he not gonna do what he say.

I don’t know how many beef squashing videos Joe Budden has recorded – but this one was very necessary. There was no reason for Slaughterhouse and Wutang to ever clash, whether it be one vs. one or group vs. group.
