Goodness.
This new album is about progress and growth for her as should be obvious by the different sounds that she experimented with. Alicia Keys went for something different and doesn’t sound bad doing it. In fact, she sounds great.
“Put It In A Love Song” definitely reflects Bey’s style, but that should be expected… Bey has a strong musical personality so that doesn’t at all surprise me.
“Unthinkable” is beautifully produced. Alicia does those key chords justice. The overall vibe is just so real, and I think Drake sounds nice with her.
